The churches of Chesterton, Porter, Burns Harbor, and other parts of the greater Duneland area made a major impact at ShareFest last year. Â And now we’re gearing up to make an even bigger impact in 2009!

Blood Drive
The First United Methodist Church (434 South 2nd Street) is the designated location for the ShareFest blood drive in Chesterton. This site will operate from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on Oct. 10. You can drop in any time during those hours, but if you want to reduce your wait time you can pre-register at www.givelife.org. Use the sponsor code “SF” to find the ShareFest blood drives, then then choose your location. Or call 1-800-448-3543 to pre-register or get more information.
Service Projects
Projects happening in Chesterton and throughout Duneland this year are being tied in to another wonderful local, non-profit organization, NeighborLink Porter County. Check out the details, and sign up to serve!
